Leland is the Director of Business Development, Senior Associate, and currently serves as the Landscape Architecture / Planning Studio Leader for the Nashville Office. He is responsible for managing multiple design teams, projects, new business development efforts, and client retention for the company. From designing the overall vision to final construction details, Leland delivers quality work, regardless of size or scope. In his 10+ years at CSDG, he has built a broad portfolio and is a valuable leader in developing creative and sustainable design solutions.
Aside from being a key leader at CSDG, his expertise in project management, planting design, and graphic design is particularly beneficial to clients seeking visuals for presentations, environmental permitting, community buy-in and support, and grant applications. He has a proven ability to solve problems, communicate thoughtful ideas, and encourage collaboration within a project team both in and outside of the office. He believes that organization, design sensibility, and collaboration are paramount to success, not only for projects but in all aspects of landscape architecture.
